I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a distinction. My interest in anatomy, sport injuries, manual therapy and rehabilitation originally stemmed from my history as a personal trainer; due to this history I have a vast understanding of gym related exercises and many other forms of exercise, this helps me understand how acute and long term problems can obstruct your progression within these activities which I can then help adapt accordingly.
I myself still participate in high amounts of physical activity having done an ironman triathlon and different marathons/obstacle runs over the years.
I was born in Eastbourne and grew up in Heathfield before leaving to do my degree in Chiropractic in Wales. After graduating I moved to the Northampton/Milton Keynes area where I have built up my expertise by working in a handful of clinics and seeing many hundreds of patients.
My Chiropractic practice focuses on using manual techniques to restore normal movement, function and ease pain. I then work together with patients to recommend activity’s and/or exercises to aid in prevention and management. My philosophy being that chiropractic works most effectively when combined with exercise and a balanced healthy lifestyle in order to achieve a holistically pain free, healthy existence.
I use multiple treatment modalities to help my patients, including spinal manipulative therapy (adjustments), trigger point therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue work, dry needling and exercise prescription.
I am a member of the Sports faculty of the Royal college of Chiropractors and am completing my additional Sports Chiropractic qualification (also known as FICCS). I am also registered with the BMAS (British medical acupuncture society).
I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a distinction and have worked in several clinics around the country over the previous years. I have had a long standing interest in the function of the human body and health which motivated me to pursue my career in Chiropractic. Over the years I have enhanced my knowledge and skills by completing courses in chiropractic care in pregnancy, kinesiology taping, dry needling and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation techniques (IASTM) and use these techniques daily.
My overall goal is to optimise your function and performance and I take pride in offering the very best treatment and care for all my patients, whether you’re looking for pain relief or general preventative care to get you back to your normal lifestyle as soon as possible. Pain and discomfort is becoming a chronic issue, and I strongly believe this can be addressed with ergonomic set up as well as postural advice and I am passionate to be able to offer this service at Bodycare Chiropractic.
My aim in practice is to afford you as the patient pain relief in the shortest period of time and safeguard your long-term health and well being.
I have in the past taught student chiropractors at London Southbank University for 2 years. However, more recently I have found a new interest in pre-natal and post-natal chiropractic care along with scar tissue therapy to help patients post c-section and orthopaedic joint replacements.
Shockwave therapy has promising research in these fields and I am still currently pursuing my studies in these areas further to offer a wider aspect of chiropractic treatment.
During my free time I enjoy horse riding, walking our dog Lumi and cooking. Having originally come from Slovakia I am fluent in Slovakian as well as English.
My name is Marina, and I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a distinction. I’m genuinely fascinated by the body’s incredible ability to heal, and I love being the one to help unlock that potential.
My approach to care is hands-on and diverse; I use a mixture of chiropractic adjustments, including Diversified and SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique), alongside soft tissue work, kinesiology taping, and rehabilitation exercises. My primary goal is to put your comfort first and get you back to doing what you love, whether that means conquering the golf course or simply getting through the workday without pain.
I was born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK at 15, which gave me a deep appreciation for the diversity of British life. On the weekends, you’ll always find me outdoors – tennis or golf is my therapy! If you are ever near the greens in Eastbourne on a Saturday, don’t be a stranger – come say hi! I am also fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
